Based in Brooklyn, NY, Pat is an active performer throughout the tri-state area and a dedicated music educator. He teaches at Soyulla Artists in New York, and through his private studio in Park Slope. Pat has over 15 years of teaching experience and has given guitar lessons for everyone from beginners to jazz major College students.
Pat’s teaching philosophy is rooted in meeting each student where they are and building lessons around what they want to learn. Whether a student’s interests lie in jazz, rock, pop, improvisation, or songwriting, Pat uses that musical curiosity as the entry point for developing strong fundamentals. Within the context of a student’s goals, he emphasizes core concepts such as scales, rhythm, harmony, ear training, and music theory, helping students understand not just what to play, but why it works. This approach allows students to grow technically while staying engaged, creative, and connected to the music that inspires them.
Pat has availability in his Brooklyn studio, traveling to students homes or zoom. Fill out the lesson inquiry form below to get in touch!
