Pat Brennan began playing guitar at the age of 10. With the encouragement of his father, who is also a guitarist, Pat began to listen to and practice jazz. While in High School Pat was chosen to be the guitarist in the 2008 Connecticut All State Jazz band. After High School Pat attended the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and then the City College of New York, receiving his undergraduate degree in 2014. In 2015 Pat was selected as a semifinalist in Wes Montgomery International Jazz Competition.  In 2017 Pat finished graduate school and received his Masters in Jazz Performance from the City College of New York. Some venues he has performed at include The Birdland Theatre, Smalls, The Jazz Club, The Cutting Room, 54 Below, Fat Cat , Ornithology, The Rainbow Room, The Fillmore Philadelphia  He has performed with  Ian Hendrickson-Smith, Billy Kaye, Chris Byars, J.J Wiggins, Joe Cohn, James Zollar,  Paul Sikivie, Andy Watson, Don Hahn, Ray Gallon, Margot Sergent, Avalon Jazz Band, Lapis Luna and hundreds of other fabulous musicians. 

Today, Pat is based out of Brooklyn, NY, and continues to play at a variety of venues across the tri-state area. He is a music educator at the Bergen Academy of Music in New Jersey, Soyulla Artists in New York, as well as his own private studio in Park Slope. Pat has a wide variety of teaching experience, from absolute beginners to the college level.
